0https://www.wad-archive.com/wad/Coffee-Break-Episode-1 Sometimes the plans don't always fall into place, As I've seen in the last 20 years, Megawads and ambitious projects crumble leaving fragments of what was a idea, This wad which released on July the 22nd 2012 was originally planned to be a 32 level megawad but it was much shorter then the author wanted it to be.
Designed by Matt Tropiano, Coffee Break Episode 1 is 11 maps in bite size form good for a short break, This wad hold the mold well together of a art deco mapset with the classic themes you remember from Ultimate Doom, Doom II and TNT Evilution, The ammo placement is perfect, just like a chef's kiss and this wad gives me big Scythe vibes, The last map is a bit of a letdown, However, I find this to be a example of the sleeper hit, A wad that stands out and is a must play.
