Greetings, And welcome to the first episode of PlayStation 4 Talk/Rants, This side project will cover games in my Library and in between I'll be doing fervent rants feat games I play.

Opening the series is a 2017 release named Night In The Woods, An emotional and spiritual journey that has taken me by surprise, this adventure game follows Mae Borowski, a 20 year old college dropout who has returned home to Possum Springs and finds a lot has changed since they first left to college, but somethings never really does change maybe.

To preface, Night in the Woods is...a different kind of adventure game. I've played many games in the adventure genre through the times, but here it's different. Throughout the story is a colorful cast of characters including best friend Gregg, Angus, Bea, and many more and each one has their own personality and desires, with all of them, especially Mae startling me with how human they are in terms of behavior and personality.

There's a lot of speech and dialogue which can be activated by pressing Square, some choices can affect how characters respond and there's usually 2 options but, in a few cases, there are 3 to pick from. Mae's responses also will change as their mental state begins to deteriorate from a series of strange dreams, we'll find that... not all is well in this small town we once lived in and have returned to, I won't spoil anything but there are several endings depending upon who you hang out with more giving this game a major advantage as having options to choose from.

Trophy hunters' good luck, every trophy aside from the Platinum is hidden and requires several playthroughs depending upon what choices you make, collectables that need to be found, and the... *god forsaken* music minigame which was pissing me off, that was my least favorite part of Night in the Woods, Still I respect this game for giving me a different point of view on Depression, Adult life and its joys/agonies, and friendship.
