Doomsday Hunters - How to unlock Mari....oh, I mean Radul and the Radioman Achievement!
4Radul is a character that you can unlock in Doomsday Hunters. This character is a reference to Mario, which becomes very apparent once you have unlocked him.
For starters, he makes a Mario sfx when he jumps, and his sidearm is a piranha plant that shoots fireballs. If that wasn't enough, he also has Jumpman next to his name, which was the name of the hero in the original Donkey Kong game.
To unlock Radul, start a run on any difficulty with any character. You want to make sure to check every island as you play. You are basically looking for a swirly, black and green sphere that kinda looks like a black hole. I believe I have only seen this in the desert so far, but to be sure, just search the islands of every zone. Doesn't hurt to be leveled up anyways. UPDATE to this: I have only seen it in the desert zone, and I've seen it quite a few times now. If anyone has seen it elsewhere, let me know 👍
Once you have found the sphere/black hole, interact with it and head inside. You will see an NPC that looks like a reaper/alien hybrid named Marrav. When you talk to them, they will ask you to run an errand for them in another dimension. Agree to help, and a teleporter will spawn, which takes you to some islands not on the map.
The goal of this place is that you can collect Radiocoins, which after the timer runs out, allows you to buy goods from Marrav. However, if you collect at least 80 before the timer runs out, you will also unlock Radul and the Radioman achievement!
In order to collect enough coins, make sure to use the teleporters on the ground to get around to the other islands, and grab timer pick-ups if you need them. This is not very hard, and should be easily doable if you keep moving. If some coins are hard to get, consider passing them up and just teleporting elsewhere. Don't forget that you can also defend yourself with your pipe, or swap weapons to a firearm (there is no indicator that you can do this, but it works).
