In order to unlock the High Tide Achievement and Artifact, you must collect 10 Strange Fruit in one run. Strange Fruit is a level up reward that increases your range by 100 each. High Tide grants the Player a x0.15 score bonus, at the cost of making the playable area smaller. The description states "Rising water levels cause islands to be half of their original size".

Before getting started on this, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the Blobbath Artifact, which makes it so only Blobs can spawn. To unlock that, you must kill 100,000 total Blobs (a bit of a grind, but will make this WAY easier!). Since this will take quite a few runs, this will give you time to upgrade a few permanent things like attack damage, attack speed, xp gain etc. to also help with this.

Once you feel ready to attempt this, turn on Blobbath (if you have it) and start a run. As you level up, keep an eye out for the Strange Fruit reward, and ALWAYS choose that over anything else.

If you are NOT offered Strange Fruit as a reward, your best bet will be XP gain. This will help you level faster, making this easier. ALSO, remember, you can Dissolve a level up to gain back XP towards your next level, so don't feel scared to use that as well. Try to get a few weapon upgrades, just to be able to survive also. Anything with an AOE chance, or weapon damage, will also really help.

This Artifact/Achievement can take a bit of luck. Obtaining 10 Strange Fruit rewards out of the pool of upgrades can be a bit annoying, especially since as the numbers grow, you are missing out on a bunch of potential DPS since your weapons will be neglected. Get these 10 Strange Fruit as quickly as possible before you get overrun! This is where Blobbath REALLY comes in handy. It stops armored and fast enemies from spawning, giving you more freedom to kite enemies while waiting for level ups.
