In order to unlock the Around the World achievement, you must visit all 4 starter areas in one run. These 4 areas are: Jungle, Hills, Desert and Coast.

In this video, I started out in the Jungle area, but feel free to pick any of the 4 starting areas. When choosing your route you will take, just keep in mind the distance of where you start and the next zone. For example, starting in the Coast Zone and going to the Jungle Zone from there is long route, so make sure that you are prepared. The more patches you cover in one run, the stronger the enemies become.

To prepare for this, there are a few things that will make this much easier:

1) Having some monsters tamed and leveled up to 4 to have all of their skills will help a TON. Bring along some monsters, as you are more vulnerable when not riding one.

2) Run into sparkly plants when going through patches. These will drop stat boosts that will help you survive.

3) Have shortcuts unlocked. It may be wise to hold off on doing this until you have unlocked the shortcuts around the starting zones to give you the most straightforward route possible. This cuts down on patches you will have to travel through, keeping the enemies from becoming too powerful before you finish.

4) Pick up Ammo power-ups. Grabbing ammo like rapid fire and homing shots will help you survive when facing big waves of enemies. Also, if you have the Ammo Blender, saving up 3 types of ammo and blending them into one ammo type with all of those weapon abilities can make you breeze through some fights.

5) Having the map filled in. This one is obvious, as it will help you plan your route you want to take.

Once you feel you are prepared, head to the zone you wish to start in. Plot your course, check your map frequently, and grab as many power-ups from sparkling plants as you can. Once you have entered the last zone of your route, the achievement will unlock!
