Previously, Davilas began the Martial Artist vocation quests. He completed Quests 067 and 068, the Level 30 and 35 tasks. Before proceeding with the next quest, he will carry out the Kyurara Summer Vacation quest available from August 9 to August 23, 2016. This was recorded on August 16, 2016.

He starts by hiring his support characters. Then, to get over to the summer event area, he talks with Aanai at C-6 by Juretto's shore (time 3:07). This cute Wedi girl (sorry, Saigan) summons a steamer to take Davilas to Kyurarana Coast, where he will find the entrance to Kyurarana Beach during the summer event.

He arrives at F-4 on Kyurarana Coast (time 3:56). This zone is halfway between Juretto and Verinaado and is a well-known leveling spot. Simply by walking to the north, Davilas will enter the summer event area, Kyurarana Beach. The first time he arrives, a cutscene will play. The beach patron, Muuron, and the life guard, Goure, will declare the beach open, and we will see all manner of folks arriving to frolic.

After the scene, Davilas gains control in Kyurarana Beach (time 5:49). At D-8 in this area, he will find Naburetto, a Pukuripo from the Orufea storyline (time 6:28). In fact, he is Orufea's circus leader, and he looks both adorable and ridiculous. He will assign Davilas the quest 'Kyurara Summer Vacation: Big Performance on the Beach' (キュララな夏休み: ビーチで大公演). This quest has a couple of objectives. First, Davilas has to get a key item drop from a Summer Wolf out in Kyurarana Coast.

So, Davilas heads south to Kyurarana Coast (time 9:14). The Summer Wolves are pretty easy to find out here (time 9:49). After defeating just one, Davilas gets the key item he needs.

Then, he returns to Kyurarana Beach (time 11:00). Now, he has to find an open heart-shaped oyster with a pearl (time 11:32). It glows on the beach, so it is pretty easy to find.

Then, he takes these two key items to Naburetto (time 12:20). In thanks for helping him, Naburetto will reward Davilas with a set of swim trunks. Male characters receive swim trunks, while female characters receive a Sweet Bikini. Quest complete!

Then, Davilas shows off how to get swimming (time 14:58). You have to remove all your armour from your head, torso, hands, and feet, and equip only the swim trunks or bikini.

Being able to swim allows you to reach Kyurarana Beach's central island, where you can take part in the other quest. It is a raid boss, so I probably won't be showing it.

The shop on the beach has some further swimwear available (time 16:44). They sell gender-specific wet suits and flippers. The flippers allow you to swim faster in the water. Also, the shop sells inner tubes, not to mention other stuff to drain your gold supply. Just like a real resort! A really neat thing that I found is that you can set your swimsuit to an outfit. Then, with all your typical armor equipped, you can switch to your swimsuit outfit and swim in the water.

When he is done playing in the water, he zooms back to Juretto to continue the Martial Artist quest line (time 20:44).

Note that the changing rooms on the beach let you change into a swimsuit for swimming in the water near Juretto. However, it looks like you have to manually re-equip your character afterwards.

At D-6 in Juretto, Davilas talks to Yaan again (time 22:42). Yaan now assigns Quest 069, the Level 40 Martial Artist task. This will require defeating five Magistars, starfish enemies, in Giruzaddo, but they must be finished off bare-handed. Yaan gives Davilas another book key item.

Davilas starts by reading the book that Yaan gave him (time 23:51). This does not seem to do anything at the moment, but one never can tell.

Afterwards, Davilas takes the train over to Gaatoranto, the Ogre capital (time 25:22). Since he will need to defeat enemies barehanded, he will respec some of the skill points he has spent in Staves as a Martial Artist and apply them to Fisticuffs.

To do this, he heads into Gaatoranto Castle (time 27:07). At the southern end of the main floor, he buys a Redo Gem from Jiuba (time 28:07). Then, up on the dais, he uses the Redo Gem to refund the points he had spent in the Staff skill (time 29:22).

This frees up 27 skill points as Martial Artist, so he allocates 27 Martial Artist skill points to Fisticuffs. At 3 skill points, he gains an unarmed attack bonus of 10. At 7 points, he learns a Fisticuffs ability, perhaps Stone's Throw. At 12 points, his chance for a critical blow while unarmed increases by 2%. At 18 points, he learns another Fisticuffs ability, maybe Wind Sickles. At 25 points, he gains an unarmed attack bonus of 20.
