Previously, we started Ventus's story. Spurred on by manipulative words from a Masked Boy, Ven ran away from home in pursuit of Terra. Ven also played the Command Board to get the Ragnarok Shotlock command.

After resuming, Ventus lands at the first Disney-themed world, the Dwarf Woodlands (time 0:48). In the initial scene, he arrives on a ledge above a Mountain Trail and observes a curious group of men heading towards a mine entrance.

No sooner does Ven start fighting than his Aqua D-Link reaches its second rank with Magic Deflector (time 2:24).

To the right of Ven's initial position, there is a chest containing a Potion (time 2:39).

Down the slope towards the woods, another chest contains a Potion (time 3:12).

Near the mine entrance, a chest contains an Ether (time 4:49).

Then, Ventus heads into the Mine Entrance (time 5:21). Inside, he finds the dwarfs at work. Unfortunately, when they see him, they are suspicious and refuse to talk to him.

Ven regains control in the Mine Entrance (time 7:10). This area contains Dopey and a Command Shop, as well as the Balloon Sticker (time 7:41).

Then, Ventus heads into the Mine to play hide and seek with six of the dwarfs (time 8:27). They are mostly hidden in crates, but one is rolling around in a mine cart.

Ahead from the entrance, there is a chest containing a Mini command on top of a cliff (time 8:53).

To the right from the entrance, there is a chest containing a Panacea (time 9:34).

While he fights here, one of Ventus's Strike Raids reaches Level 3 (time 10:06).

In this area of the Mine, Grumpy hides in a crate and will dash around (time 10:18).

Sneezy is located in another crate nearby (time 10:57). The force of his sneezes will propel him into the air.

One Strike Raid command is now mastered, so Ventus puts in the one he acquired on the Command Board earlier.

Sleepy is located in another crate a bit farther along (time 12:24).

Afterwards, Ven's equipped Fire command reaches Level 3 (time 12:38).

A chest near Sleepy contains the Payback Raid action command (time 12:50). With this equipped, Ventus can counterattack with a Strike Raid when he has been sent flying.

Just beyond, Doc is hiding in another crate (time 14:07). He will run around pretty quickly in his crate.

Near the mine cart tracks, Happy is hiding in the last of the crates (time 15:02).

Bashful likes to ride the rails on the two mine cart tracks (time 15:31).

After Ven has revealed all the dwarfs, there will be another scene (time 15:49). They remain untrusting. However, they do direct him to a castle beyond the forest.

Ven regains control in the Mine Entrance (time 16:35). Since one Fire is now maxed at Level 3, he replaces it with a Level 1 Fire. Also, he installs his new Payback Raid action command.

Ventus heads back out to the Mountain Trail (time 17:31).

As he fights just outside, his recently installed Fire command reaches Level 2 (time 17:57). Soon thereafter, his newer Strike Raid command reaches Level 3.

Then, Ven heads to the Cottage Clearing (time 19:47). In a brief scene, he deduces the house belongs to the dwarfs. But then, he hears a girl's voice cry out from deep in the woods.

Behind the cottage, there is a chest containing the Dwarf Woodlands Map (time 20:41).

North of the house, there is a chest containing another Fire command (time 20:54). Is the game trying to tell us something?

Along the southeast creek's bank, there is a chest containing a Poison command (time 21:08).

Then, Ven enters the Cottage (time 21:19). In the northeast corner, a large chest contains an Attack Recipe.

Ven heads back out to the Cottage Clearing (time 22:21). After saving, he melds some commands. Melding a Fire and a Fire with a Soothing Crystal, he gets a Fira command with the HP Boost ability. HP Boost increases his HP a little bit. Not a lot, but every bit helps.

Then, melding an Aero and a Quick Blitz with a Soothing Crystal, he gets an Aerora command with an Item Boost ability. Item Boost will increase the effectiveness of item commands like Potions.

Next, Ven will head into the woods to help the damsel in distress.
