Previously, Davilas did one of the quests for the 2016 summer event, and he completed Quest 069, the Level 40 Martial Artist quest.

He had signed off as a Thief to get a little support experience into that vocation. It turned out well, because as he logs in, he reaches Thief Level 30 (time 0:30). He learns the attack spell "Jibarika," which is probably an upgrade of the spell "Jibaria." It creates a circle on the ground, and seconds later, spikes will shoot up to damage enemies.

He starts out by checking his mail at home. Then, in Juretto, he switches back to Level 50 Martial Artist and hires a support party. Instead of a Priest, he goes with a Sage this time.

When he is ready, he talks to Yaan at D-6 in Juretto (time 6:25). Yaan assigns him the Level 45 Martial Artist task, Quest 070. He again gives Davilas a book key item. Also, he directs Davilas to defeat a Killer Fang in Myurueru Forest near Orufea with a critical blow.

After starting the quest, Davilas looks at the book (time 7:47). Again, I'm not certain that it's necessary, but it can't hurt. In any case, it seems to provide clarification about Davilas's first objective.

So, Davilas takes the train to Orufea, the Pukuripo circus town (time 9:52). Upon arrival, he heads out to the Western Orufea countryside (time 11:02). From there, he heads west to Myurueru Forest at A-3 (time 12:39).

The Killer Fangs are located in the western portion of Myurueru Forest (time 14:40). They certainly look appripriately named! For this quest, one must be defeated with a critical blow. I believe the Fisticuffs skill tree offers crit boosts, though they may just be evasion boosts.

After several minutes, Davilas finally sends one flying with a critical finisher (time 29:37). This earns him a key item that looks like a fang.

Back in Juretto, Davilas delivers the fang to Yaan at D-6 (time 30:41). However, in a cutscene, the book flies open again to give Davilas a new objective. It is now time to go to a cave south of Gatara.

So, Davilas takes the train to Gatara (time 33:04). After arriving, he exits southeast to the Gatara countryside (time 34:58). Directly south of the Gatara city entrance, he finds the entrance to Gurugu Cave at D-5/E-5 (time 36:10).

Within Gurugu Cave, he makes his way directly to the boss room at F-8 (time 37:21). A cutscene plays. Yaan is there, but a big Baalzack-resembling monster appears, too! Yaan decides to let Davilas handle it.

After the scene, it is time to fight the Gigademon (time 38:50). Look out for the crits from the massive tree he uses for a club. Also beware of the ground-quake AOE he makes when he rises into the air and comes crashing down. However, he is no match for my over-leveled party.

Another scene takes place after the battle (time 40:44). However, the Gigademon gets up for more. Twice! Then, Gaurado shows up. Yaan finally dispatches the demon with an attack reminiscent of Dragon Ball's Kamehameha. The book returns from Davilas to Yaan. Then, Davilas learns the Martial Artist's Coup de Grâce, Roaring Tirade. Roaring Tirade stuns the enemy and boosts the user's tension one level. On top of that, it looks like Kamehameha. Quest 070 complete! Gotta love it when the quest concludes right there.

Afterwards, Davilas is treated another montage (time 45:40).

When it is over, Davilas uses an Evac-U-Bell to get out of the dungeon (time 46:31). Then, he zooms back to Juretto. In the next episode, he will conclude the Martial Artist quest line.
