Dude plays MS-DOS Doom E2M3: Refinery (100%)!
7Well hey folks it's your best buddy Nuclear-Skull87 and in at least one of today's videos I will be demon-blasting my way through E2M3 The Refinery in my 100% walkthrough for the MS-DOS version of the very original Doom played through Steam on the so-called "Ultra-Violence" Difficulty setting and boy o boy this is a rather challenging map in the game to traverse as we have to walk through lots of lakes of nukage in this level and that can be especially tough if you are trying to get 100% items in the form of all the health and armor bonuses, luckily one easy element of this level is we need to only get one color-coded key in this level and that is a blue-key and we will only need that one key to exit this map at the end and we will be extracting this key from a very demonically and satanically-transformed room filled not only with skeletal, demonic architecture but also Hellfire in what used to perhaps be one of the many myriad man-made windows of what itself used to be the Lost Deimos Base as this is the second episode "The Shores Of Hell" hence the fact there is plenty demonic-architecture terraforming this part of the man-made base and one of the parts of this level still has flickering lights even though it has been partly terraformed with demonic architecture which is all the more of a reminder of what this man-made space station use to be.
So anyway, missing a few armors and health bonuses can be rather easy to miss especially in an area that is dimly lit with flickering lights and shadows as that place is a bit of a maze no doubt as you will see in my gaming video for the refinery level itself and taking out all the demons and zombies is also pretty easy and pretty straightforward at least if you know the level really that is but as usual I can tell I had to do a few practices runs just to make sure I knew what I was doing before I hit that record button.
