Once in Lindblum, head to the Inn for some Mognet business, then pick up the missable treasures in the Business District. Head for the fountain to initiate some scenes with Cid and you will get 3000 Gil from him.
Once you're back in the Business District, head to the synthesis shop and make an Exploda. Next, the Theater District to loot the chests that have refilled there. Also, recruit Lowell for Ruby's Theatre. Once done with everything, return to the man waiting by the fountain in the Business District to proceed.
Vivi will meet you and Cid and will hand you the World Map. Deliver the letter for Moonte, and pick up the chest next to the exit.
On the world map, call Choco on the tracks and head for Gizamaluke's Grotto. Make your way to Moguta and give him your Kupo Nut for an Elixir, then make your way back to Choco and save next to Qu's Marsh. Doing all of this encounter-free is a little demanding, especially skipping the save at Moonte.
