Now for a break from the action starting with Hippaul Racing for the Athlete Queen. My 2013 playlist is the last time I could do the races legitimately. After 5 previous perfect game runs and other gaming activities over the years like speedrunning , the hands and fingers just can't take the mashing anymore. Luckily there is a gameshark code for this so I trivialize it. You can't progress to the next race until Hippaul finishes anyway.

I watched Zjanku's PAL run and LilGecko's TAS of the Ex2PG and both get the Athlete Queen in 16 races, so I do that here for the sake of time. The target time assumes 32 races total, which I think is about normal human play.

Once the key item is in hand, watch the 'Artimecion' ATE at the square. On the way to the steeple, if you didn't get the treasures inside the house, get them now. At the steeple, climb the ladder and ring the bell for Hippaul's card stash, buy Stiltzkin's next deal, and finally deliver Kuppo's letter you've been holding on to since Fossil Roo!

Saving isn't really required but I do so to switch back to my slim PS2, which doesn't support gamesharking.

Now head to Ruby's theater to advance the story. Dagger will get 3 new eidolon gems from Tot and Eiko inadvertently plays matchmaker. You will then get control of Zidane inside the pub that we didn't enter at the start of the game, as we now get the treasures here. Picking up the gil in Ruby's theater is suggested. Return to Kupo at the steeple to read a letter left by Artimecion, then head to the castle dock. Missable treasure on both sides of the boat await before you see the new queen.

You will eventually end up in Treno to partake in the Card Tournament, but before you do that there is some business to take care off. Watch the 'Memories by the Water' ATE once outside Tot's tower, this is a pre-requisite to get a missible item later. Leave Treno towards Dali and save before an encounter ensues.
