This is THE best segment of the entire run! You will see why if you watch this video without skipping ahead to the end. Trust me on this one! This is arguably the toughest segment in the whole challenge, as there is a lot of fights to get through without dying and all at LV1.
First, head all the way back up the way you came, but before getting to the rotating platform, equip Freya with the Mythril Helm, Mythril Armor and Yellow Scarf. Give Zidane The Ogre, Bone Wrist, Bronze Vest and Glass Buckle, and activate Add Status and Insomniac. Activate Freya's Cover and Insomniac.
Collect the two chests you passed at the rotating platform. If you mash fast enough, you can get back on the lift without having to wait. I was lucky as I am a terrible masher! After leaving the secret passage, another fight with Beatrix.
Quina is not here to give us a 'win button' so have Steiner Freya and Zidane attack when possible, and have Vivi use a Phoenix Down if anyone falls. Freya will cover for Steiner, since he is in critical health and he is the big damage dealer so he needs protection. Once Beatrix uses Cura, you are close to winning. I get a Steiner critical right away which made the rest easy!
After Beatrix sees the errors or her ways, she becomes joins your party for a short time. Plus, she isn't permanent so she can take all of the forced EXP here!
On the first Bandersnatch, wait for it to act then have Freya KO herself and Beatrix use Holy to one-shot it.
As Zidane, get back across the rotating lift to avoid the Bandersnatch, then for some equipment changes. Equip Zidane with the Mage Masher and Yellow Scarf. Optimize Dagger to get the Mage's Hat, then she needs the Mythril Rod, Leather Wrist, Silk Robe and Gold Choker. Optimize Vivi for his Oak Staff, Mage's hat, Bone Wrist, Robe of Lords and Yellow Scarf. Equip Steiner with a Mythril Sword, Mythril Helm, Silver Gloves, Chain Mail and Coral Ring. For abilities, Steiner needs HP+10 and Insomniac, Vivi needs Auto-Potion, Dagger also Auto-Potion and Ability Up, and everyone to the back row. I was slow as this was like my 2nd or 3rd attempt to this point.
Now for the toughest fight, 3 Type Cs. Vivi is invincible with his setup so cast non-Stop! Zidane's Mage Masher can silence with Add Status so attack those not disabled by Vivi. Steiner is a medic here and Dagger can also cast Silence to back up Zidane.
Be sure to have everyone alive if possible for AP purposes, especially Zidane and Steiner.

Before the next screen, heal up everyone and Elixir Vivi, then remove Steiner's Coral Ring and give him Mythril Gloves. Optimizing Zidane gets The Ogre back plus Mythril Vest and Power Belt but he needs the Glass Armlet. If Zidane does not have Flee, replace the Power Belt with Germinas Boots. Dagger gets the Cachusha and Vivi gets the Coral Ring, and activate Insomniac.
Now for two fights with a pair of Bandersnatch, then a single.
Zidane can now blind with Soul Blade, while Dagger can cast Silence, both of which can help greatly. Vivi is occupied with casting Stop. Steiner is a medic. Everyone needs to be alive for AP.

Back to Beatrix, two fights with a pair of Bandersnatch each.
This first fight is all up to the starting ATB luck so after getting this far, you could lose it all. Get Climhazzard off ASAP! On the second fight, whoever gets the first turn, Elixir Beatrix. Then hope nothing bad happens, as it almost did for me. Knock out Steiner and get one more Climhazzard off!
As Zidane, run to the chapel door! If you learned Flee, you have an out if you get the small chance of an encounter. I have only got encountered once in all of my Ex2PGs, but it can happen. Accept Mosh's letter and rejoice as you save!

On the way to the exit, equip Dagger with the Multina Racket and Feather Hat, Vivi the Ice Staff, Magus Hat and Magician Shoes, and Zidane the Mythril Dagger, Bone Wrist, Leather Shirt and Gold Choker. Activate Zidane's Bandit ability, but turn off Vivi's Auto-Potion.
Ralvuimago is straight forward, just 3 Blizzaras from Vivi will win. If VIvi's ATB is bad, have Dagger attack and Vivi Focus, then its only 2 Blizzaras to win with good rolls. Zidane needs to steal the Adaman Vest, and everyone needs AP...

After some scenes, you will be in Pinnacle Rocks. Get the first two parts of the story and deliver the letter for Monty and save!
