227I love VR games set underwater or in the ocean, a true VR subnautica is still a game we desperately need but we do have a decent selection of VR diving experiences, VR shark attack simulators and VR underwater games to keep us entertained in the meantime. One of those games is Beyond Blue: After the Storm, a new VR game that blends an educational story about preserving the health of ocean environments and wildlife with an exploration and light puzzle solving gameplay loop that has players switching between two different characters to complete objectives. Beyond Blue VR is definitely a game that's aimed more at younger VR audiences but anyone who loves seeing marine wildlife up close and personal will no doubt get a kick out of Beyond Blue: After the Storm, swimming with dolphins, sharks, whales and rays in virtual reality is always a serene and enjoyable experience. Beyond Blue could definitely use a few quality of life upgrades however, things like smooth turn and an option to disable the vignette are sadly missing and their addition would no doubt help the game appeal to a wider VR audience. I'd also love for the marine wildlife to react to the player, genuine interaction with these stunning creatures would have me returning time and time again.
