The Black Prince Mine was a small mine site from the very early 1900s. If you pause this video at 2:12, you can see a large hawk (California Golden Hawk?) standing in the nest that's perched on the headframe. The mine consists of a 60-degree inclined shaft, but I'm not sure how deep it was dug. The headframe is still intact but the couple of buildings at the site are pretty much collapsed.
