We returned for a third and final visit to the Tungsten Peak Mine to explore the two lower levels off of the inclined shaft that we skipped during our last exploration. The Tungsten Peak Mine is where Ridgecrest resident Linda Lou Rose (Linda Marie Rose) died in November of 2009 when she fell into a 90-foot vertical shaft in the mine. During this visit, we finally reached the bottom of that vertical shaft on the second level. As we explored the level, we found more dead animals as well as a blood pack which indicate to us that people are still going into the mine to conduct witchcraft, séances, and other rituals simply because Ms. Rose died there almost five years ago. In the tunnels on the third level, we crossed a pit and found a discarded, old hoist that was still in pretty good condition.
