The Azurite Mine was mostly a copper mine. Perched high on a mountainside overlooking the Nevada desert are several portals to this massive mine. I explored three of the portals -- a lower level, a mid-level, and the uppermost level. The mine is absolutely impressive (compared to others in the same mining district) due to the size and amount of stopes that are in it. I spent approximately three hours exploring the Azurite Mine.
