We've done it! The all item production area of my Factorio base is now on a separate logistics network from the rest of the base. That means that everything we use either has to come in on a train, or we have to build it here.
We start off by getting ride of some bots that were left in the area after splitting the networks. We make a few logistics bots to take the left over construction bots, and place then in a chest that is having it's contents put onto a built that brings them back to the original factory.
We then start covering the main bus area in concrete, since we not have tones of it that we are producing.
After that, we set up production of logistics chests, since that is one of the common items that we are building that we aren't producing yet.
Finally, if we want to build a train that contains all items, it helps if we are producing locomotives and wagons for the train. so we set up production of them. But this is slowed down a bit as all our construction bots are still placing down concrete!
