Factorio Tutorial #21 - Bots, part 2 - Logistics
162In this episode I discuss the use of logistics bots, both for personal supply and trash handling, as well as for production and movement of material in the base. I explain the four types of logistics chests and show several examples of them in action.

I wanted to mention the chest priority in the video, but it slipped my mind. Bots will pull material first from active providers, then storage chests, and lastly from passive provider chests. This is a good priority, in my opinion, since the bots will use stored material before taking from passive providers, which would often result in more items being produced.
This is a tutorial let's-play series in Factorio version 0.15. This series is aimed towards newer players, or those who have been away from the game for a while. I will spend more than the usual amount of time explaining what I'm doing and why. The goal of this playthrough is to get to a fairly quick single rocket launch. I am playing without mods, and enemy bases are set to "None" (no biters) to put the focus on base-building.
