Fallout 2 is One Big Moral Dilemma
Fallout 2 has an old school '90s difficulty settings. It's no exaggeration to say that this game's "easy mode" is harder than the hard mode of many modern games, and to be frank, it is too difficult. However, I do have to admit that the brutal difficulty of the game is kind of fitting for the central story and theme of Fallout 2, which is about one person's effort to survive a post-apocalyptic desert, and to save their village from dying to the elements. The difficulty of Fallout 2 makes you really feel the desperation of your character's situation, and it creates some interesting role playing choices for me personally as I try to cope with the wasteland without compromising my commitment to being a morally decent person. This video explains one of those choices and the forces that brought me to it.
