Fallout 4 (Xbox One X) - Gameplay

Today we're taking a look at Fallout 4 on the Xbox One X.
I love Fallout 4. So much in fact, that I currently own the game on both PC, XOne and PS4. Is it without its flaws? Absolutely not. There are the usual Bethesda bugs and errors here and there though most have been ironed out, but it also has great exploration and surprisingly tight combat mechanics.
Simply exploring the world is a real treat due to the world being full of both major and minor elements. Some of these aren't even on the ingame-map so keeping your eyes peeled for various spots can lead to some surprising encounters. The world itself is beautiful and atmospheric, and you'll rather easy get lost in the vistas and wonders. However, the graphical choice might not be for everyone but I really enjoy the art style.
The dialogue system, however, is less than stellar, in my opinion. Having it set up to "Mean", "Good" and "Joking" was a bad decision and I miss the old Fallout 3 and New Vegas choices. Having said that, I enjoy that the protagonist talks this time around, but I would have liked if he or she would have actual smalltalks and banters when traversing the landscape with followers. Much like Dragon Age and Mass Effect, where the characters have random conversations with each other. To be honest, the follower will randomly and on occassion comment on your actions but having an actual dialogue between them would have been awesome.
Other than that, Fallout 4 is a must-have game in my humble opinion and I highly recommend it to everyone.
The game was recorded directly on the console to an external HDD. No postwork has been done.
