Man, I really messed up in this phase!!! The dual ghost battle in the narrow corridors of the patient ward especially had my pulse racing! Don't be fooled by how easily I defeated the last ghost. I'm playing on Easy difficulty after all. Expect a real challenge, as that is a boss battle or atleast above the norm ghost battle!

So this picks up immediately after the Prelude, and this time you play as Misaki Asou. You would of course have long since realized she's a descendant of Kunihiko Asou, the creator of the special Camera Obscura and obtain more equipment for the camera. Careful you don't miss them. P.S. I like the subtle differences in interfaces of the Camera Obscura between Misaki's and Ruka's. Misaki's look nicer, more mysterious with those symbols.

Misaki Asou realized she's no longer where she initially was and was now separated from Madoka. As she explored the sanitorium she became acutely aware of the presences around her. Exploring the nurse's stationed revealed that Madoka was once a patient in the nearby ward along with several others. Just what was this place? At first glance it seemed like a mental institute. But whatever it is Director Haibara was expecting, it was not just any mental condition. What were these young boys and girls to the hospital? And why was the one named Ayako so important despite her malicious nature?
