I vaguely recall a lot more than what I did in the video. I'm sure I've missed out a lot of ghosts, battles and items. Oh well, it is my first playthrough of the Remaster, so i'll eventually get back to it.
So as Misaki explores the institute she remembers her time along with the other patients. She herself was being treated for Moonlight Syndrome. And she remembered that she was taken away while watching the Kagura. It was clear that she and the other patients were indeed in need of help, but were these treatments Director Haibara and his staff were trying? The vague references to the island's ancient traditions are one thing, but something else about the treatment frightened Misaki.
Misaki once again encounters the Girl in Black. Thus far, this lone entity or presence has been a guide to her, and not hostile like the other spirits. Who was she to Misaki? Madoka seems to have vanished, or so it seemed. But it was worse. Madoka was indeed no longer of the living as her spirit attacked Misaki. Her face and eyes blackened. And what did Madoka mean by her words? That she was a replacement...a replacement for whom? The Girl In Black? Her words despaired as she addressed her words to Misaki to return to her room and find her friend.
Misaki found her room, recalling the memories of her time with the other girls. And the doctors who took her for "special treatment". Did Misaki truly bloom or blossomed at the time? But before she could recall everything Misaki encountered the ghost of the doctor and the nurse who were still intent on "treating" her....
