We're getting to the end of the playthrough, and this map is not like the others. Gharnef is here once again, easily doubling and 2HKOing most of my units, as are his two clones. You have to kill the right one with Starlight if you want the true Falchion and a skip of chapter 24x, but because this run visits every gaiden we don't have to kill the real Gharnef at all. In chapter 23, this saved us a turn that we could've wasted visiting the Starlight village. Many more will be 'lost' in chapter 24x however, but I kinda enjoy the opportunity to fight with all the stat boosters making fun options available.

Besides Gharnef, there's sparse enemy density with the exception of the densely populated finish line with snipers, heroes and bishops, bishops everywhere threatening squishier units (read: with less than 35 HP) with Swarm actually. If you fail to bait one of the Swarm bishops from Marth, two attacking him will cause a game over. This isn't very difficult with Barrier or Pure Water use.

As the turn count indicates, this is a long map, so units with 8 move and under, like Barst and Sedgar, have no bussiness accompanying Marth. Paladins are much better suited to do this map than dracoknights due to higher resistance, lack of arrow weakness and also a higher speed cap. In particular, Abel (out frontliner) having capped speed as paladin enables him to double 21 AS snipers. They may proc 22 spd sometimes, but it'd only happened once during all of my attempts.

Warriors having 0 resistance at base makes Barst and Sedgar very appealing Swarm bait targets. Deciding to naturally ram Barst's cap of 30 strength, highest in the game, I have him fight the tome users surrounding the closest Gharnef. Having 7 mov lets him grab the last kill.

Xane and Jake shine again, taking out two Swarm bishops. This is definitely a more meaningful contribution than anything they offered to us previously, and far from their last.

Abel may be leading the way, but Shiida could easily replace him as the main attacker here, with the same offensive stats and her lower defence not mattering that much with low enemy density. After all, we're enjoying Fortify support from Lena, who's just taken the rest of the spirit dusts to have very high magic for the first time in this run. We get another Fortify staff from a priest in this map, which is helpful but unnecessary.

Marth kills the only Gharnef clone we have a shot at taking on, levelling up for the last time in the run. The only stat we care about him levelling here is, surprisingly, HP. Should be easy to guess why...
