A map that's usually quite short for low turn count runs. I've never had the chance to three-turn this map as far as I remember, though the option is there - the player just needs to break through the enemies that appear when a unit ends their turn near the gate, and drop Roy in seize range on turn 2 (probably by doing a rescuedrop). You will have to start and finish the bosskilling process all on the third turn, which could be quite hard as the team needs to make an effort to reach him. Having the Killing Edge Rutger brings (he recruited) is a big help on such clears.

Since we never recruited KillingEdge!Catch, this patch's replacement for Rutger, it's much harder to bosskill in one turn without taking a little longer to transport the relevant bosskillers (several!) closer to the boss.

Another problem is that Karel is still really squishy and vulnerable - he may survive a round of combat against one of the iron bow archers from the previous chapter, but he is doubled -and- OHKO'd by the Hand Axe Fighters here, and the Nomads and Mercs around are just as fatal to poor myrmidon Karel (who still needs some 2-3 levels to more or less reach Roy's potential... as a lv. 1 unit).

So a 4-turn is the best we can do, and I try to make the most out of it. On turn 1, Karel is too far to partake in combat, and on turn 4 he will have to seize, so that's two turns when I can feed him kills on player phase (doing so on enemy phase is a bit too tricky still). He gets closer to his next eventual level-up, and we all know how exciting these are for a unit who often levels up +2 in some stats (always +2 in HP, too).

Miledy didn't get to self-improve in the last map, so now's her chance to catch up with Zeiss (who's also not just standing there idly). What's a better way to kick off with your levelling than a +str/spd/def level-up?

I also feed the bosskill to Dayan instead of Yuno (who's been growing too slowly as of late), since Zeiss has too much difficulty connecting an attack against the boss while still getting a respectable level-up out of it - the quality of his level-ups is definitely preferred to their sheer number (although we'll want a promoted flier ASAP, too). As for Dayan, he just keeps on growing strength - with his poor growths all-around, he doesn't really gain much else of note on this run, but at least his offence will be gone. I'm sure it won't be long until enemies start OHKOing him, so I'm hoping there's time to reach that Orion's Bolt before we seize in vanilla Echidna's map.

This map is unique for being the first map (and the last for a very long while) without any new characters joining the party - unusual for FE6 with its huge cast (of mostly worthless characters), indeed. It is also the last map... yes, before we get our... first! dancer. Some big changes are about to take place.
