The boss battle against Ritz, KOing whom conveniently ends the mission without necessitating the fighting against her other (powerful) allies.
This is a mission that begins instantly when you go over Siena Gorge, meaning we can't bring an elemental power-up and/or Gedegg Soup for added bulk when accepting it at the pub. This means Marche is only 3HKOing Ritz, which means he will have to manoeuvre quite a bit to finish her off - we also have to ensure the Elementalist isn't around to heal Ritz when she's in critical.
The biggest danger on this map is probably the Assassin. With Ninja Tabi, she's got 6 move, letting her reach Marche with a ranged attack from basically any place of the map, but the biggest threat is her Max's Oathbow, dealing crushing dark-elemental damage. There's no way Marche can survive two of these connected attacks, or one MO hit + another (even weak) attack, so a Bone Plate for absorbing dark-elemental damage is essentially a must to completely shut her down.
There's still Ritz herself who needs to be manipulated to move away from her army and whose doublecasted lv. 1 spells (they ARE powered up by Magic Pow+) are quite disastrous when they connect. Marche can choose a perfect facing for Ritz however, and strike back with accurate Hunter combos to have quite good chances at killing Ritz before she does the same to you.
As of yet, I still haven't quite figured out how to fix my save type problem. I've read up that apparently you have to restart the game so that you play the game with the correct save type (I was just using the same one the Fire Emblem games appear to require; I'd never had any problems with it until I started this run after a long break from FFTA), and that's not something I can afford right now (playing through the challenge again would be p tedious since some of these maps take a ton of resets and I've got pretty far already; it's pretty hard for me to justify re-doing all those luck-reliant maps like The Bounty, Mateus and what have you). I wish there was some way to just hack the necessity to save before Ambervale out of the game so that I can tackle the final battles, but since I have close to zero experience in hacking I have no clue how I'd go about that.
