FE7if is a hack for the japanese version of Blazing Sword, Rekka no Ken. Enemy difficulty is boosted, items/weapons/characters rebalanced, new music, and even new characters taking the place of some old ones.

Oh lord, I thought I wanted to be done with this hack. Apparently I feel like causing myself more pain though, heh.

I did actually delete my old save files, thinking I would never return to this imbalanced hack. As a result, I had to replay everything up to where my videos stopped. Made sure I was getting good levels all the time...and apparently getting items that I once missed.

Case in point, the Angelic Robe in the hands of the chapter 13 boss.

Even with the massive levels I fed to most of my units, this is still a tricky task to pull off. The boss has a Brave Sword. That, coupled with his strength, means someone is losing a crapload of health. Better hope he doesn't crit either.

Basic idea here was to devote a few units (Isadora, Bartre or Dorcas, and Hector) to plugging up the bridges where enemies will file through while everyone else fights northwards, hopefully allowing Matthew to plant himself where the boss will run over to attack him, allowing Matthew to swipe the Angelic Robe on his next turn...and then proceed to almost bite it because of a critical, then a miss, from the boss.

Other than that close call, everything else went as smoothly as it could have gone.
