FE7if is a hack for the japanese version of Blazing Sword, Rekka no Ken. Enemy difficulty is boosted, items/weapons/characters rebalanced, new music, and even new characters taking the place of some old ones.

If you wish to try out the hack, the latest version can be located here: http://www.uploadable.ch/file/ACDETeQcA9Dg

Do a search on Google for the ROM (Japanese version of course!).

This is the chapter with the jerkwad Falcoknight in the northwest, right? The one I thought wouldn't be possible at all to get the Speedwing item from the boss?

Yes, I get just that. It's not an easy task though, even with a few insane units (Sain with capped strength, speed, and defense? Yes please!).

Basically, if I'm going to fail this mission, it's going to be in the first few turns when I'm busy trying to gain control of the ship I start on. The flyers do not help out at all, nor does the large amount of on foot promoted units with absurd amounts of hp.

Basically, Sain can more or less function on his own without needing help from anyone else. He helps out with clearing the first ship a bit before going to tank the female Druid reinforcements coming in from the southwest. He's not as durable against them, but the Pure Water is in his inventory for just that reason as is the Elixirs. Ash comes down to give him a hand in pushing through to the boss.

Speaking of the boss, I was saddened to find out he didn't have a persona themed song for his battle theme...or the fact he's really no stronger than the female Druids.

Take note that killing the boss automatically ends the chapter so make sure you've gotten everything you want from enemy drops or steals before ending it.

Everything went about as well as it could have here. Mass amounts of flyers crashing in to Sain and dying? Works for me!

Next time, the game will pick back up at where I left off.
