Showing four more battles in this challenge.

Telstar isn't really a boss but it's a tricky battle that I felt should be shown nevertheless. Attacking him with Sabin's blitz triggers a counter that will berserk Sabin. This means after using blitz once, he won't be able to support the party in any way, and his damage will suck. This pretty much leaves just Shadow to do this on his own, using Shurikens for damage and Scrolls to protect himself from enemy attacks.

I decided to make Shadow one of my relic users. In this battle, he gets the Knight's Code and takes damage with his dog when it's directed at Sabin. It's a neat combo, I think.

And Sabin does help there in the end, which is to be expected from a critical HP dude.

GhostTrain is bad... With just a shield on Sabin (Cyan gets nothing... yet), we can't survive either Acid Rain or the other full-party attack the boss has. He must die before he can use either and he WILL do it very shortly into the battle. We pray for Shadow's doggy counter and just use up our Potion stock on it.

This can also be done with a Phoenix Down, as everybody knows. Which I do actually, because it conserves more cash than wasting all your Potions, just not in this recording.

Rizopas is once again tricky. Our attacks suck, the boss's attacks hurt and there's a water-elemental move Il Nino that's game over. We need some luck and we should be quick too.

Kefka is very safe. Runic with Celes, Gau rages Bomb (looking at those digits, I'm no longer sure this is the best rage for this battle - or am I just used to raging Bomb with 2 Earrings on from past experience?), Sabin blitzes and Edgar heals the party, using the AutoCrossbow tool whenever healing is unnecessary.

I also show my party's equipment before the battle. This is pretty much how it will look for the rest of the challenge (only the equips will keep changing).
