There may be actions that are done for practical purpose or for no particular purpose in the playthrough; the mandatory actions done in this episode are the following and they can be used as a guide (note that during this playthrough, certain actions can only be done during a short period of time and others can be postponed; note also that there is the possibility I may have missed events like dialogue replacement, sprite change, additional scenes and so on, since those are not generally considered as goals and are not documented at all):
* Train Marcus according to his last equipment setup (timecode: from the start of the episode to 25:48).
* Train Marcus up to 9999999 EXP points after reaching level 99 (timecode: from 30:30 to the end of the episode).
Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* This is the second episode containing timeskips; timeskips are necessary in the episodes covering Marcus' training since the latter takes more than 250 hours (also, it's normal that I don't show the phases in which I don't really play, since almost everything is done automatically thanks to the turbo controller during Marcus' training). Timeskips occur at 03:35, 08:11, 13:12, 18:27, 21:58, 25:18, 31:08, 34:27, 39:57 and 43:45.
* Reminder of Marcus' mandatory equipment setups for his training up to level 99:
- Setup 1: 26 levels with Bandana, Leather Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle.
- Setup 2: 12 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle.
- Setup 3: 60 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Gold Choker.
* The goal of Marcus' training to level 99 with the above equipment setups is to exploit a glitch that makes Eiko reach the following target base results at level 99: 43 Speed, 73 Strength, 89 Magic, 48 Spirit and 81 Magic Stones.
* The results of Marcus' training to level 99 appear at 26:28 to 26:42.
* Reaching 9999999 EXP points for Marcus must be done because it meets the criteria of the "achievements" of this challenge (more details in the first minutes of the first episode of the let's play).
* The Ethers and Ores can be sold after each long session of farming (I haven't done it often because it's not really necessary, in addition to consuming video recording time), but to ensure having the maximum number of Ethers and Ores at the end, I do not recommend to sell them if there are only few hours of the farming left.
* The turbo controller setting I used during Marcus' training is the following:
- Setting the "autofire effect" on the "validating" button (CROSS by default, or the button chosen with the "Custom" controller option; I choose CIRCLE), meaning the button used to select actions during battles and to pass battle rewards screens.
- Placing Garnet near the hanging lever in the screen named "Gargan Roo/Switch Pt.".
- Putting dumbbell discs on the validating button and the right directional button in order to maintain both buttons pressed, so Garnet will constantly run in place to trigger battles, in which monsters will be killed and rewards screens will be passed automatically.
* It is recommended to equip the Blood Sword to Marcus during his whole training.
