The last part of Disc 3 has arrived! Just a simple item hunt with setting up for the "Big 3" battle gauntlet coming up. After getting everyone prepared for Charge! in a random encounter set up the party as follows:

Zidane - Orichalcon, Green Beret, Bone Wrist, Judo Uniform, Dark Matter
(Distract, MP Attack, Man Eater, Bird Killer)

Freya - Holy Lance, Mythril Helm, Venetia Shield, Minerva's Plate, Barette
(Distract, MP Attack, Dragon Killer, Man Eater, Bird Killer, Locomotion, Accuracy+)

Steiner - Coral Sword, Cross Helm, Thunder Gloves, Chain Mail, Power Belt
(Distract, MP Attack, Man Eater, Bird Killer, Accuracy+)

Amarant - Kaiser Knuckles, Bandana, Bone Wrist, Power Vest, Black Belt
(MP Attack, Man Eater, Bird Killer)

Order from top to bottom: Amarant, Freya, Steiner, Zidane

Amarant does not have Man Eater learned, so the Bandana takes care of that, also Steiner has not quite learned Charge!, MP Attack or Bird Killer so the Coral Sword, Power Belt and Chain Mail need to go on and his Thunder Gloves will help with his damage output, since they enhance the Coral Sword's thunder element. If you stole a second Power Vest from Ark, then Zidane can equip that in place of the Judo Uniform as it provides 1 additional point of strength!

Once through the maze and picked up the last 5 missable field icons/treasures, deliver Mozme's letter and save!

The boss gauntlet coming up is handled just like always. Attack with Freya and Amarant, have Zidane act as a medic when needed, then use Steiner's Charge! in that order. Zidane is not as strong as his path A or B counterparts since he is still at LV1, but that just makes the final battles more epic as 3 of the 4 party members are LV1!!!

Key Abilities Learned:
Steiner - Charge!, Bird Killer

This is the best run through these 3 bosses I think you can get! Both of Garland's and Kuja's attacks did not hit Steiner, Freya, or Amarant, making for a nice attack montage!

After that FMV skip, the analog controls somehow got cut off on me, so I panicked a little but after the run I just had, that is nothing to reset over for sure!

At last, the final disc and the Excalibur II is once again in sight!!!
