Tetsuya Nomura recently spoke at the Monaco Anime and Gaming International Conference 2017. It was during this talk that he revealed some awesome new screenshots for the Final Fantasy VII Remake, but he also spoke about quite a few other topics.
The main focus was about character creation. Nomura went on record, talking about the creation of characters such as Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy 7), Squall Leonhart (Final Fantasy 8), Tidus and Yuna (Final Fantasy 10), Sora (Kingdom Hearts) and Lightning (Final Fantasy 13).
