Decided to make another video showing one thing that people ask questions about a lot. This one shows how you can get potentially infinite amounts of cash rather quickly using the Urbeth shopping mini-game. And I also show how to acquire the Seamstress job with the help of it.

The Urbeth shopping minigame becomes available during the Jusqua solo sequence, when he needs to earn 10K Gil in order to get the curse removed from his cat. It's one of the many ways how you can make money at this point in this town, but it's by far the most effective and can be repeated for as long as you want. You can come back here later in the game and redo this "sidequest" if you like, so there's no need to leave with a million Gil on your first visit to Urbeth; in fact, most people will never really need so much money in this game.

Here's how the minigame works, and how we're going to exploit it with maximum efficiency for quick cash. In this minigame, you sell your own items as a salesman on the counter in the right of the weapon shop. You pick any items you like from the BANK, put them into nodes and pick the price at which you'll be trying to sell those items to random people.

When a shopping session ends, you'll hear what items (harps, armour, tomes etc.) are trendy right now, but really, pay no mind to it. Looking for the right items to fit the trend is a waste of time and may not even work, and we want something to work as often as possible, so here's what we do:

At the same counter you're selling stuff, buy as many Burning Harps as you can. Two is ideal to begin with and you need just a little under 2K to get them. Sell an Amethyst if you don't have so much Gil, or just buy one Burning Harp - I kinda advise against selling gems because you'll have a lot of use for all of them.

Now, put TWO Burning Harps into one node with two spaces in it. The closer the price you're selling the items at to their initial value, the more likely it'll be sold. For every 2 Burning Harps, you will gain 3K Gil, and it speeds up the process greatly.

DON'T go for Ethers, because while those seem to sell just as effectively, you need to run all the way to the item shop to the south, and the Burning Harp selling counter is right here.

As you make more Gil, you can afford more and more Burning Harps, repeating and speeding up the processes. If there are no double spaces for two Harps, reset until you get one. Sometimes you'll get 4 double spaces but you only need 3 because there are only 3 items maximum you can sell for 5K Gil.

Why would one need a lot of Gil in this game? Early on, with 100K Gil in your pockets you can buy all the best stuff in shops without selling a single gem, saving them for equipment upgrading and crown levelling. The Merchant job also gets his Money Talks ability powered up as you get richer; however, if you don't want to ruin your experience DON'T USE MONEY TALKS. Later on in the game, the bonus towers sell quite expensive items on floor 40 so that's also a good time to make money. Some might argue that mass-farming Amethysts and/or Diamonds is a more effective way of getting much richer at that point however.

I also show how to get the Seamstress job. With all your money, but 3 Tomes that cost 5K Gil, 3 Tomes that cost 1-1,5K Gil and 4 Tomes that cost 500 Gil at the magic shop at night (there's no salesman during the day). Make sure you get a grid with single spaces only.

Put 5K prices on the expensive -aga spell tomes, 3 1K prices on the cheaper ones, and 0,5K prices on the cheapest tomes. To get the Seamstress job, you need to gain 20K in one session, and that's the way to achieve it. If you fail, reset, but in my experience this method always works because you sell all these tomes at, if not above, their initial price.

The Seamstress job is the job that's said to deal the highest damage in the game with a normal physical attack. This is because when you equip a Seamstress with a needle weapon, the attack value of a weapon triples (!!!). However, you don't get access to a needle weapon until endgame. The earliest one can be bought in the bonus tower lv. 4, north from Urbeth, at floor 40. However, the best needle weapon can randomly appear in a chest on floor 90 in any of the bonus towers (providing a +2 boost to attack per upgrade, which is +6 for a Seamstress!). So if you want a Giant's Toothpick for your Seamstress, save after floor 80 of any tower and keep resetting (or teleporting on floor 90 after opening the chest using a Dragon Wing and then redoing floors 81-90 until you get it, keeping all the ultimate equipment you get in the process) until you succeed.
