Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light - Math Game (Unlocking the Beastmaster Job)
Showing a failproof (I think) way of getting the Beastmaster job in Final Fantasy The 4 Heroes of Light.
You can unlock the crown as soon as you get to Invidia for the first time with Brandt and Jusqua. Just talk to the girl in the second house from the East and agree to play her game.
Basically, you need to make a series of three mathematical equations that in the end result in 10. To give the simplest example possible:
You get numbers 1,2,3 and 4.
1+2=3
3+3=6
6+4=10
You get 3+6+10=19 points for that.
Or you could do it like this using other functions besides addition
4x3=12
12-2=10
10/1=10
That would give you 32 points.
To unlock the Beastmaster job, you apparently need to score over 250 points total from 3 tries, and here's what I advise you to do in order to score that high.
Basically... Skip all the situations that don't quite give you much of a reward at all. Don't even waste your energy thinking of solutions to to every combination of numbers you get, and just reset until you get a combination like this:
2 8 9 9
Add up 2 and 8 to get 10. Multiply by 9 to get 90 (and that's 100 points right there!!!), then divide by 9 to get 10, completing the turn and getting 110 points total (which is just 140 points away from the crown).
or, something more humble, like
5 2 7 7
5x2=10
10x7=70
70/7=10
Total: 90 points
To put it briefly, look for combinations featuring two 9s, 8s or 7s with other two numbers forming 10 either by addition or multiplication.
You *could* just attempt to solve every combination you get (and people have already made many online calculators for automatically solving all the solvable ones), but you won't get over 250 points even by being a math genius, trust me.
(if you want a good calculator, here's one:

This method should work without failing unless you're terribly unlucky with getting a combination of the pattern I gave (2x 7/8/9, 1+9/2+8/3+7/4+6/5+5/2x5). You get points taken away for skipping a combination, but you also get points for skipping unsolvable combos so that should even up, hopefully.
