This is the Halloween event for this year, It starts from Monday, October 20, 2014 at 1:00 a.m. (PDT) to Monday, November 3, 2014 at 6:59 a.m. (PST).

To start this seasonal quest go to Old Gridania X:10, Y:8 and speak to the NPC Godriquelain. I don't know what last year was like and I'm pretty sure this year is all new stuff. You can't get the old rewards from doing this either so keep that in mind.

All you need to really do these quests is a level 15 DoW/DoM class, there's no true combat and it's mostly just fun. I recorded this around 1 AM PDT for the most of it so it was PACKED and hard to target the NPCs at times.

The quests you have to do are:

1. Affright and Delight in Old Gridania. Just a bunch of talking and being introduced to the transfiguration mechanic lol. What you get turned into is random mostly monsters like the imps or bats but I saw some Kan-E-Sennas running around. Note you can't take teleport while transformed so you gotta walk.

2. A Plague of Pumpkins in Limsa Lominsa at 5:35. This one is similar but the goal is to go leaving these pumpkins at the various locations. You have to do them in order and the game even jokingly notes it's inconvenient when the NPC orders you.

3.Yes We Cant at 10:41 in Ul'dah - Steps of Nald. This is the last one, first you need to transform and spread word of the parade with flyers. After that step you have to partake in the FATE Main Street Spectral Parade as shown at 13:59. In this FATE the goal is to hit the Suspecting Citizens all you can with your AOE Cant but NOT the Thaumaturges as they will dispel your glamour and you'll have to run back to transform again. With how fast this FATE goes that can cost you a good score. While you only need to partake in the FATE to clear the quest you get more Demonic Cookies from higher ranks. 16 Demonic Cookies are needed to get everything, 6 for the Pumpkin Earrings and 10 for the Eerie Chocobo Barding.

You get one cookie from bronze, three from silver and six from gold. Joining a party may help but in the recorded attempt you see here I managed to get gold solo it is possible.

22:44 for the Eerie Set and Eerie Chocobo Barding. The Eerie set for the character isn't bad but I like the Eerie Barding best.

So a pretty fun event, I still am probably going to go back and mess around with the different transformations just to see their emotes/dances. Do note your character retains their same voice regardless of if they've become the Sultana or Raubahn, etc. So you can hear Raubahn with a Lalafell laugh or a female laugh lol.

Edit: Also, WHY are people on Gilgamesh seriously buying Demonic Cookies? I thought they were joking but..Some people have given up. If the FATE is giving you trouble just do it on non-peak hours it's way easier with less other players around. Seriously not worth spending you hard earned gil on something you can easily obtain.
