This one's interesting. Instead of Halatali being ridden with blood thirsty monsters and the tormented spirits of those who did not escape Halatali during the Calamity this one is just for fun gladiatorial combat. So it's all planned and under control. Well as much as a blood-sport can be.

Also note, while you don't really get to know the gladiators in the final fight in here but if you do the Moogle Delivery Quest Sudul Eht Nioj, you'll learn more about Franz the Fair,U'linbho the Sand Devil Langloisiert the Lionheart and Silent Moss the Solemn.

This run was pretty smooth. Not my first attempt though since to be honest I had some troubles first time but I learned and showed that here. The party was really solid for a Duty Finder one too.

5:34-Pyracmon battle. A lot like Coincounter from Aurum Vale and Steropes from Coerthas so staying out of melee range at times is wise, it can be tricky if you are melee. He likes to use his lasers a little more though to hit those staying away from him. You will also notice the Mammet in the area. You need to wait for the boss to start casting 100 Tonze Swing and then hit the lever and get the manawall buff from the Mammet as shown in the vid. If you fail this everyone will take a lot of damage. Other than that, not too hard.

13:48-Catoblepas battle. My least favorite battle lol. Take notice of the four pedestals as you will need them. When the boss uses Demonic Eye each player will need to activate one to get a buff and avoid taking damage from it. His eye also becomes a target DPS it to death when it does. He has lots of AOE moves too but I noticed the right side of the room just always seems safer than the left from them. At least in the runs I've done it seems to be that way.

20:25-Gladiator Battle. You take on a party of four fighters. Langloisiert/The Lancer is the one who randomly targets a party member and usually ignores tank aggro so defeating him early can be essential as sometimes he goes after your healer. Silent Moss/The Conjurer is one of the first who should go down, U'linbho/The Bard next and then Langloisiert/The Lancer if he's still alive. It leaves Franz/The Gladiator for last. In this run we the tank admitted he didn't remember the order but we did it. It's not a hard fight. But that's not the end!

21:06-Mumepo the Beholden/Narashima battle. The red demon Narashima has a tail cleave, fireballs and frontal AOE as well. Mumepo is the main target here. He does a killer move called Absolute Bind. He'll chain up two random players leaving the other two to find and activate Thal's Scepter, once activated they other two will be set free but will have to RUN out the AOE really fast to avoid big damage that could be wipe inducing. Rinse and repeat. The demon itself is...pathetic when Mumepo is gone lol. Pretty fun fight though. Mumepo was kind with his Scepter placement this run.

Pretty fun run though. Not a bad dungeon at all it's nice how it changes Halatali basically back to what it was before the Calamity. Although let's hope they have an escape plan if Eorzea happens to end up on the brink of destruction again. Also Maybe enforce better rules, Mumepo gets to bring in a demon but we can't bring in a Chocobo? Madness! Greatest Thaumaturge he says? Lol no.

Story is: Halatali! The very name turns some spines to water and others to steel. Lurid marks of the recent lawlessness remain still, but daily the drudges conquer halls slick with ichor and doorways festooned with things not for gentle eyes. No less deadly for its newly-restored order, the fabled training grounds yearn for new blood─perhaps to brighten the freshly-scrubbed walls of its vast chambers.
