So you liked the final battle of the main scenario but you wish it was harder or you could hear Ultima's theme in game for a longer amount of time? You got your wish here! This is The Minstrel's Ballad: Ultima's Bane!

Welp, after this upload I've officially put up a video on every hard mode. This also qualifies as one of the hardest when in the Duty Finder. If you're with friends or your Free Company it's a LOT easier since you can coordinate or talk in voice chat to react faster.

If you do this in the pubs/Duty Finder, expect a wipe or two or three...Note this is the one fight where Tank Limit Break actually comes in handy, a shame our tank was either trolling or literally falling asleep at points accidentally hitting it twice lol.

You really don't need echo for this fight either but...With the other DPS players mostly staying dead I just accepted it instead of removing the buff from myself..

I'll let the video do the talking on this one. There's just a LOT of AOEs to dodge, a lot of lasers, a 10 minute timer on Ultima in which he'll wipe you if you fail to kill him within that time limit. The tanks have to keep switching as Ultima puts a debuff on them, three stacks of the debuff and they DIE. The biggest hazard by far are the Tethered Orbs he will create. You MUST destroy them or you will wipe. To do so you run into the orbs as a group, thus making the damage less lethal but spreading it.

When the last wave of orbs spawned, we just went with the Tank Limit Break strategy in order to survive them.

The rewards for this are decentish but..They're all ilvl 80 necklaces and rings so...might not be worth the trouble anymore.

Story is: The Wandering Minstrel is wont to regale those who would listen with the heroic deeds of adventurers. News of your death-defying feats have reached him, and he would have you recount your fateful encounter with the Ultima Weapon.
However, one must always be wary of the Wandering Minstrel and his gift for exaggeration. Upon hearing his ballad, you come to find your clash with the Ultima Weapon has been transformed into something far more epic than you remember.

Lol, Yoshi throwing crazy stuff at you basically. A cool concept though, it allows for them to add in harder fights without messing with the storyline. Here's hoping the Tribunes get similar treatment, people really want to see us fight them all at once and I like the idea too.
