Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Haukke Manor(Hard)
3The manor just got an even more spooky makeover courtesy of the Voidsent.
This run was actually really fun and a total DPS fest. We had some close calls but things were mostly under control for the majority of the run. Black mage+Bard is just a beastly combo hence I used the hell out of Foe's Requiem. Luckily we had a Scholar so there was no need for Mage's Ballad.
5:17-Manor Jester Battle. This guy...Not hard at all! Just kill the adds, healers remove slow if someone gets hit by the Void Blizzard and avoid/get out of the ice circles it creates.
11:04-Ash Battle. This one's a little trickier, it requires a lot more moving around since he does a lot. It's best to avoid standing in front of him due to his cleave. Avoid the spirit cutters that will appear on the blue highlighted areas and the crazy swirling swords of doom. Kill the add ASAP. Pretty easy for a bard to do though since we can move while attacking.
16:13-Halicarnassus battle. Used to be a DPS race now it's not nearly as bad. Just kill the adds when they appear since she will absorb them. Once absorbed she will unleash the unavoidable Blood Rain which does more damage depending on the HP of the absorbed add. If the add had full HP, usually means a wipe is coming!
Her last summoned add will be a familiar face, Lady Amandine from Normal Mode! Kill her ASAP and she is worth Limit Breaking as well, our BM did so in the video. The move still hurts a bit but we survived because the Lady was basically dead before being absorbed.
After that last Blood Rain she'll use Beguiling Mist, an evil move that will attract everyone towards her. However we all ran into like separate corners. She then targets a player with Void Fire IV which is AOE but due to us separating only hit one of us. We beat her after that.
However, she repeats it and she can absorb a random party member if your DPS is somehow too slow and wipe you..But doubt that happens anymore.
So yeah, loved this run. Pretty fun. The last boss technically is a reference to Final Fantasy 5 but...FF5 Halicarnassus is totally different and is a guy. So it really is just the name they have in common.
Story: "Scarred by the Calamity and warped by vanity, the lady of House Dartancours has made a bargain with the voidsent--and lost her soul, as is so often the case with such sketchy arrangements. Now, her manor house is a lair to all manner of dark beings, and the elite band of Wood Wailers sent to purge them has failed to report back. A second try is now in the works"
