Another map similar to chapter 9 and 10, but here you can't afford to be patient.

Because here, you have to get to Glade as fast as possible. You have to make sure that before Turn 12 or when the boss Rist is dead, you are close to the castle, where strong reinforcements will start coming from both the north and the upper left corner of the castle map. These enemies have good stats and powerful weapons and that is a great danger. It is not necessary to have all units near the castle, just have a couple of units with the intention of defending the castle until your other units arrive, so that next turn, all units can escape in the same turn.

Add in the fact that there are ballistas, so some units will not be able to advance unless those ballistas are destroyed, if they cannot be destroyed some units will be forced to either not move until the ballista is destroyed or use a rescue chain to transport weak units out of range of the ballistas.

Remember that in this chapter, the objective is to Escape.

STRATEGY:

There are 2 strategies for this chapter.

1º The simplest is to use the Warp Staff and send one of your best characters and place him near the enemy forces to the south, making sure he is in a terrain effect box to give more AVOID and DEF, or the other is to force Glade to retreat and send another unit in his place right in the Gate terrain effect, this will cost the enemy a lot to kill your unit, and you can afford to go slow little by little, make sure he has a Scroll with many different weapons (ranged weapons, among other weapons, make sure he has 3 different weapons).

2nd This is no longer based on the Warp Staff Strategy. The idea is to have knights like Finn and other units with a fairly high defence, with the intention to fight the Bows Knights but at the same time to tank the shots of the ballistas. The first ballista you encounter is possible to kill from a distance, but the second ballista is not possible to kill unless you have an air unit like Karin with 9 or more movement or use Karin + Lara Dance Skill combo, also if you have a Fire or Thunder (A) mastery with Asbel use Meteor or Bolting. Remember that ballistas only attack in a range of 3-10, if you are out of that range you are safe. Try to kill the first bullet before going to the second if you decide to go with Karin, as the bullets protect each other.
After that, try to move as quickly as possible to the 3 Armor Knights protecting the bridges. Try to kill both the middle and the south one, you can always kill the north one too if you can't move or you are in the way while moving, be careful with the other 2 bullets. Repeat the same process, making sure that some units concentrate on the ballistas, while others go to help protect the castle.

The other 2 ballistas, as long as you are away from them, pose no problem, and if they kill the boss, for some reason, it will stop attacking even if you are in range or have ammo. By that time you won't have to worry about it.

That's on Leif's side.

For Glade and his group, make sure Glade is in Gate's terrain effect at all times because then you will have to face the boss with a Killer Lance and if you are not in that terrain effect he can kill you with a critical, that's why he better be protecting the castle, for the rest of the units use him more as a distraction and shield, make sure some of your units give weapons to Glade, because they won't last too long.
Try to delay the southern forces as much as possible, if possible kill as many units as possible with your units except Glade as he has to be protecting. Concentrate on killing the mages, which can be dangerous for Glade. The sooner you help Glade, the better. Just make sure that Leif's group goes as fast as possible while keeping an eye out not only for ballistas but also for nearby enemies.

TIP:

If you bring Selphina on this map, when you talk to Glade he will give you the Brave Bow, a pretty good item. If you combine Selphina's Acosst with the Brave Bow +4 AS difference from the target it can attack 8 times in the same combat, very good for fighting potentially dangerous enemies, evasive enemies, etc. But be aware that it will consume at an alarming rate, keep that in mind.

The northern house gives you Hammer, the southern house gives you Armorslayer, and the third house which is right next to Bishop gives you the Master Seal. Maybe these 2 weapons will be very effective for the next chapter. But I recommend not to use them for several reasons.
