2nd Side Quest chapter of the game. Here,the party decides to rest for a bit on the way to Laus. It's here they overhear someone call for help,a merchant named Merlinus is being attacked by bandits. This is another Defend/Protect chapter,as Merlinus cannot fight. It's night time and there's fog everywhere,so vision is lessened. If you're going for the boss and the village here,you'll want to send your main force north. Mainly bandits and mercenaries for now. Clear them out and have Marcus head for the village for 2K Gold. Once the trees have been broken by the enemy,expect a Nomad or two,some archers,and some bandits. As for the enemies from the south,Guy can handle them if he's in cover of the trees. Dorcas and Oswin can provide backup if needed. Only thing to watch for is the Nomad that appears from the east down there. The boss is located across the water on the northwest side. BOSS: Puzon. Mercenary,armed with a Steel Sword. He's pretty fast and strong,Lowen should be a good match for him though. 2 more enemy units spawn from the west forts on turn 5,be ready for 'em. After 7 turns pass,the bandits run off. Merlinus will now join the group as a Merchant,he can hold many spare items for you!
