After beating the final boss fight, when you start up your save file, you earn some rewards, like crystals that you would earn from Tempest Trials, some books to earn SP, and a lot of gold. I do show some secrets that can happen in the final battle.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

When you start your save file after the final boss fight, you get some rewards, and there is no New Game + like Fire Emblem: Three Houses, this is because there is only one path in this game, while Fire Emblem: Three Houses had three paths and a secret path in one path, and Fire Emblem Fates had three paths.
The main thing I show in this video is what happens if you lose to Sombron, there is a cutscene that happens, which most players refer to as the bad ending of Fire Emblem Engage. I do show each character's quote at the start of the final battle, and I take on a Tempest Trial, as I wanted to find something to do so that there is more in the video than the final battle secrets.
I could go over the unit and my choices of units, and going over each one, Alfred was originally not going to be on the final team, and I did consider having Diamant or Timerra, but they ended up being units used before getting more allies, and Diamant's personal skill is based on his Dexterity stat, and he does not have a good Dexterity stat to put that to use. There were some units that I did have planned for the final team, Louis was the unit I had planned instead of Alfred, but as Louis is mainly good for the earlygame and he cannot take magic hits, I went with Alfred in the end. I also was planning to have Lapis on the final team, but once I got Kagetsu, who was better than Lapis in many ways possible, Kagetsu was on the final team. There were some units where I wasn't sure whether to go with one or the other, for example, for my bow user, I was planning on alternating between Alcryst or Fogado, but I ended up going with Fogado because he can put the Radiant Bow to use, Alcryst is very reliant on Luna to be put to use, the same went with Yunaka or Zelkov, where I decided to go with Yunaka because of the higher crit rate from her avoid bonus.
Another unit that I planned to use was Saphir instead of Anna, but because Saphir is a late game unit, and chances are that you would already have the team planned, and Anna was there for money grinding in skirmishes, I ended up going with Anna in the end, and I made her a High Priest to help with her Luck growths.
Another unit that I used was Goldmary, while her base class of Hero can be good for Brave Assist where she can attack twice in chain attacks, I made her a General to give her some Defense, and then decided to make Halberdier her final class, because with General, she doesn't have good Resistance, while Halberdier allows her to work on the front lines. I did have some top-tier units like Ivy, Kagetsu, Panette, and many others on the team. I did like the Emblem choices that I went with on most units, and I did read about not having an Emblem on Alear because of Engage+, but I find it better to have Marth equipped to Alear for the Speed and Dexterity boosts when equipped. There were some choices that I liked, for example, Corrin on Mystical units like Pandreo can help with keeping foes away with the flames from Dragon Vein, I did like using Roy on some more defensive units, and the HP boost when equipped, Celica on Ivy helped with extra warp distance for the Engage Attack, same with Eirika on a Cavalry unit for extra power from Twin Strike.
The main game is done, and we'll see whether or not I end up showing the DLC for this game, because the DLC does add more units and Emblems, and there is a side story that you can access as well, much like how Fire Emblem: Three Houses had a side story in one of its DLC updates.
