Here is the long awaited Mewtwo gameplay video, and I also do Panic Parade as well. Going over Mewtwo, it is an All-Rounder that can Mega Evolve into Mega Mewtwo X, making this the first Pokémon in this game to Mega Evolve, while we do have Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, like Charizard, Lucario, Absol, Gardevoir, Gengar, and many others, Mewtwo is the first one that can Mega Evolve in this game.
Mewtwo's Ability is Pressure, its basic attacks fill the Mega Gauge when it deals damage to opposing Pokémon, and when Mega Evolved into Mega Mewtwo X, which it can do starting from Level 5, it uses a close range attack that can heal some of its HP based on the damage it deals, and when Mega Evolved, its Attack, Defense, and Special Defense increase more and its movement speed is increased.
Mewtwo's starting moves are Confusion and Barrier, Confusion deals damage and leaves opposing Pokémon unable to act for a short time, and Barrier creates a shield that increases Mewtwo's movement speed for a short time.
At Level 5, Mewtwo will learn Future Sight or Psystrike, those replace Confusion. Future Sight pulls in an opposing Pokémon, which Mewtwo can then lock on to, and that Pokémon will have its movement speed reduced and take increased damage, and after a set amount of time, the move deals damage to the Pokémon, and the damage is based on the amount of damage it took while locked on. Psystrike has Mewtwo create a wave of psychic energy that decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokémon, and at the end of the move, it sends a strong psychic wave that deals damage to nearby opposing Pokémon, throwing and dealing damage to them.
At Level 7 is the support move, Mewtwo can learn Recover or Teleport, which replace Barrier. Recover acts the same as Barrier, the difference is Mewtwo recovers HP based on the amount of damage it takes from opposing Pokémon, and when it takes enough damage for the shield to be removed, its Mega Gauge increases and all of its move cooldowns are reduced. Teleport increases the movement speed and damage dealt after it teleports to a designated location, and its basic attacks increase the Mega Gauge even further.
Mewtwo's Unite Move is Infinite Psyburn, this move hits all opposing Pokémon with a powerful psychic blast, and this leaves them unable to act and decrease their Defense for a short time.
At Level 11, Future Sight or Psystrike are upgraded, Future Sight has the locked-on Pokémon take increased damage, and Psystrike has strengthened movement speed decrease. At Level 13, Recover or Teleport are upgraded, Recover increases the amount of HP restored, and after using Teleport, the damage done to opposing Pokémon with moves is increased.
Mewtwo is one of the most powerful Pokémon in the game, and with Mega Mewtwo X increasing its stats, it can deal a lot of damage to opposing Pokémon, Future Sight and Teleport are its best moves, it could go with Psystrike instead of Future Sight for crowd control. The best items for Mewtwo are those that boost Attack or critical hit rate, like Muscle Band, Scope Lens, and Razor Claw, it can work with items that help it defensively, like Focus Band and Weakness Policy.
I did look up on a site called Game8, and it listed Mewtwo in the OP tier, which is higher than SS, as it is very powerful and not an easy Pokémon to counter, it can be put at a disadvantage against Pokémon that can disable it with their moves, like Snorlax, Slowbro, and Umbreon, as they can use their attacks to slow Mewtwo down.
They did confirm that Mega Mewtwo Y will come soon, but we don't know when it will be added into Pokémon UNITE, and at the time, we don't have any confirmation about Blaziken, even though it is in the 2nd Anniversary Artwork, and if I were to predict what role Blaziken would be when it does get announced, I could see it as either an All-Rounder or a Speedster, it did get leaked, but it hasn't been announced yet aside from the 2nd Anniversary Artwork.
