Out of all the Pokémon that the CPU leads with, it had to be Electrode, and whenever this Pokémon appears, I am usually expecting Selfdestruct on the first turn, so I switch out to a Pokémon that I am not likely to want for the rest of the fight, and as Dratini was my lead and I find its Thunder Wave to help out in battle, I don't expect to see Gloom or Victreebel do well for this battle, not even against Staryu which has Psychic.
I was surprised to see Pinsir be faster than Vulpix, which is why I don't switch out to get the advantage, as Pinsir does have a high Attack stat, and it is better to send out the Pokémon instead of letting the Pokémon take a hit in case they take away half of their HP. Wigglytuff is another Pokémon that can deal a lot of damage, Double-Edge is really powerful, and this pairs well with Wigglytuff's high HP stat, not much to say about Caterpie, while Ditto's Transform is based on the opponent it is up against, I can take advantage of that by letting Ditto Transform into a Pokémon and then I can send in another Pokémon to take on the Pokémon that it has become.
