Here is the Fuchsia Gym Tower, and in this one, the Trainers specialize in different moves, like Metronome, inflicting status conditions, and many other types of moves. While this Gym specializes in Poison-type Pokémon, the Trainers add more types of Pokémon as this is Round 2 to make things harder. The team that I went with is Nidoking, Electrode, Scyther, Jolteon, Articuno, and Moltres to take on Pokémon of many types.
I will list each Trainers, and the nicknames of the Pokémon, with the species name of the Pokémon in brackets.
Battle 1: Biker
Cle-Fable (Clefable): Mimic, Metronome, Double Team, Rest
Slowb-Ro (Slowbro): Mimic, Substitute, BubbleBeam, Double Team
Electa-Buz (Electabuzz): Metronome, Substitute, Toxic
Ala-Kazam (Alakazam): Substitute, Metronome, Psybeam, Recover
Mr. M-Ime (Mr. Mime): Mimic, Metronome, Seismic Toss
Elec-Trode (Electrode): Mimic, Substitute, Double Team, Thunder Wave

Battle 2: Tamer
Lerking (Kingler): Crabhammer, Toxic
Slashsand (Sandslash): Sand-Attack, Slash, Rock Slide
Therscy (Scyther): Slash, Agility, Wing Attack, Double Team
Belvictree (Victreebel): Razor Leaf, Toxic
Champma (Machamp): Karate Chop, Low Kick
Sianper (Persian): Slash, BubbleBeam

Battle 3: Juggler
Kab-Tops (Kabutops): Toxic, Slash, Hydro Pump, Seismic Toss
Mu-K (Muk): Sludge, Minimize, Hyper Beam, Toxic
Dit-To (Ditto): Transform
Wee-Zing (Weezing): Toxic, Explosion, Sludge, Haze
Jyn-X (Jynx): Toxic, Ice Punch, Psychic, Take Down
Tenta-Crue (Tentacruel): Toxic, Acid, Wrap, Supersonic

Battle 4: Koga
Venomoth: Mega Drain, Hyper Beam, Stun Spore, Psychic
Muk: Sludge, Hyper Beam, Minimize, Toxic
Weezing: Sludge, Fire Blast, SmokeScreen, Toxic
Hypno: Hypnosis, Seismic Toss, Counter, Psychic
Tangela: Stun Spore, Double Team, Rest, SolarBeam
Parasect: Spore, Slash, Mega Drain, Growth

Each Trainer does have some strategy to them that isn't all about attacking, this is Koga's Gym we are dealing with, and his battle strategy isn't about all-out attacking, he is more about inflicting status conditions. It's not just Koga, the other Trainers tend to use status moves, for example, Biker has some Pokémon with Metronome, Mimic, Substitute, and Double Team. Tamer has Pokémon with moves that have a high critical hit rate, and he does add in moves like Toxic, Sand-Attack, and BubbleBeam to weaken the Pokémon's stats, and Juggler has Toxic on all of his Pokémon, with the exception of Ditto, and his Tentacruel can use Wrap, and that can wear down the opponent when combined with Toxic.
Koga in Round 2 has added Tangela and Parasect to the team, as they are Grass-type Pokémon that can counter the Ground-types that Trainers will likely use to take on his Poison-type Pokémon, and Hypno to give him a Psychic-type, which resists Psychic-type moves. Each of his Pokémon have a move that can inflict a status condition, and he has moves that can increase evasion, like Muk's Minimize and Tangela's Double Team, and Parasect has Growth and Mega Drain, which pair well with Spore, Hypno has Counter to send back damage from Normal-type moves that will most likely be used against it.
