So I've never heard of this game before, but when I was reached out to and asked if I wanted to make a cover for a prog rock/metal album, I couldn't say no! The song wasn't too tricky to arrange on my part, but the main thing I had to look out for was keeping the track grounded to the original. Because I wasn't very familiar with the source material I found it very easy to come up with ideas, and some were a little too out there! I definitely have fun messing around with dynamics, time signature changes and cool keyboard parts to make it truly a prog song instead of just another metal cover, and of course I had to include a Dream Theater reference in the song title (Dark Eternal Night)!
A big special thanks to GameGrooves and Ro Panuganti for organizing this whole project, and especially Ro for mixing and mastering the entire album, he did an amazing job with it!
