Weirdo game where you (Tom) must traverse a network of pipes trying to keep a steady flow of water running from the water tank in the upper-left of the screen to the bathtub in the bottom-right of the screen. To impede your progress are rats that chew out elbows of the pipes, preventing the flow of water until you pick up the fallen elbows and put them back. There are 2 different releases of this game: a US release and the original Japanese release. In the US release, you can't see the water fill up in the tub! Pretty stupid.. Also, right after a rat chews out an elbow (which a skilled player can catch in mid-air while traversing the pipes), it turns into a kamikaze purple rat, which will kill you with a touch! It can dive at you REALLY fast, so watch the hell out! All the other rats can be knocked off the pipes by touching them. To reach the ground you can either fall off from the left edge or get to the far bottom pipes and press down (falling a great distance doesn't kill you in this game). One other thing: a bomb is placed under the water tank-- a rat will eventually light the fuse. If you let the bomb go off you lose a life. So when the fuse is lit, fall off the left edge of the pipe network and you'll defuse it on the way down. Unfortunately the wick doesn't get reset, so the next rat to light it makes for a very short fuse. But if you defuse it REALLY close to the bomb they will replace the bomb. A certain tune will tell you when the bomb is lit. Your main goal is to get enough water to the tub so that your girlfriend will take a bath in it (the girl's top is covered with a swimsuit), but in the US version you simply must just have some water in the tub to advance. For the Japanese version: NO KAMIKAZE RATS! YAY! However, there's no timer shown on the tub. And, you HAVE to see your girlfriend in the tub or you lose a life (lame!). In lieu of the kamikaze rats are blue ones that will knock you down off the pipes, so you have to start over (but you won't drop any carried elbow pieces). Plus, green rats try to move broken pieces (you can intercept them without getting hurt by these rats). The Japanese version shows *slight* nipples on the woman (but you kind of have to look carefully). To me the Japanese version is better than the US (not due to the nudity, but the fact that you can SEE the water filling in the tub and the kamikaze rats aren't in this version). But both versions are somewhat lacking elements that would have made this a much more entertaining game (and losing the droning soundtrack would have helped). Nice try!
