Were back again friends, with another episode of 53 Days of Action 52, and today's game is G-Force FGT -- a side-scrolling space shooter that is impressively uninspired. Seriously, you have to try really hard to try this little.

The first thing I'll say in regards to this game is that it's pretty generic, and that is overstating the wonder that is contained within a thousandfold. This game is barely a game, it's really just filler.

Let's start with the level design. It's barely even level design at this point -- can you call a flat corridor level design? Like, you know when you see someone's first Super Mario World hack and it's just flat with a few enemies on it, and you barely have to jump at all unless you encounter one of the enemies? That is basically what this game is, but worse. There is no obstacles, you're in a blank corridor with enemies flying at you, and that's about it.

And on to the enemies themselves -- they're not even doing anything! They're not moving around, they're not shooting different spread shots or hard-to-dodge anythings, they're not even giving a wiggle every once in a while to throw you off. They're cruising towards you in a straight predictable line and maybe firing a bullet if they feel saucy. if you're going to make one type of enemy, you should barely even bother making three terrible sprites for it. And sadly, the fact they did three separate sprites for the enemies is the most effort they put into anything in this game.

When you get to the end of the level, it just ends. No fanfare at all there. You can barely tell you've even hit the end of the level --
there's nothing that indicates you're at the end, approaching the end, anywhere near or past the end. At one point, I didn't know if I beat a level or died, that's how bad it is. I cant tell if I've died and went back to the first level, or if I've beaten it and gone on to the next level. How is your game so bland that I don't know what level I'm on?

There's certainly no bosses, which I was at least hoping for after Starevil, which did have bosses at least. Oh, and level design.

They must have felt all that was too much, and that it was time to go back to the basics here, keeping it nice and simple. A streamlined gaming experience for all of our fans.

Out of all the games I've played, this is by far the least impressive. All the other games had at least some redeeming qualities. The first game, Firebreathers, was multiplayer, but could have been fun enough if I had a second person, and at least was interesting that it was two players playing at the same time. The second game, Starevil, was a better version of this game in pretty much every way. The third game, Illuminators, was actually genuinely interesting for it's unique concept.

This game was just trash shovelware you'd find on some 1997 Shareware CD asking you to pay $27 to unlock the full game, which only made six sales in the entire history of it's existence. It really is impressive how little they cared.
