In this video, I'm doing a gameplay video of a game that I did one before, but on the TurboGrafx-16, which was uploaded last year on my old channel and then I re-uploaded this gameplay on this channel, before I deleted my old channel. That game is: Galaga '88 for the Arcade. This game was developed and published by Namco, it was released in the Arcade in 1988. Galaga '88 was ported to many consoles and handhelds, such as: PC Engine (aka TurboGrafx-16), which was called as: Galaga '90, Sharp X68000 and Sega Game Gear, which in Japan was called as: Galaga '91 and in Europe was called as: Galaga 2. Galaga '88 was finally arrived on home consoles as part of the Namco Museum 50th Anniversary compilation for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PC. This version is also on Namco Museum Virtual Arcade for the Xbox 360 and Namco Museum for Nintendo Switch. Galaga '88 is a fixed shooter and it's the third sequel of Galaxian, then followed by games like: Galaga and Gaplus. There are some great features in this game, like if you start the game: the player can select a single ship or dual ship. And there is also one when the "Boss Galaga" capturing the dual ship and needs a third player ship to free it, whereupon all three ships shall combine into a brand-new triple ship, which appears as a large single ship, has synergistically increased firepower and cannot be subsequently captured. However, this does not make it invulnerable to enemies' attacks. Unlike the gameplay on the TurboGrafx-16, I didn't survived that long, because I have no problem getting further in the TurboGrafx-16 version. But I think that this gameplay is fine enough for me. Overall, Galaga '88 is a great and awesome shooter and I recommend to play this on MAME or the Namco Museum 50th Anniversary compilation pack for the home consoles or Namco Museum on the Nintendo Switch. I hope you enjoy this gameplay of Galaga '88 for the Arcade and thanks for watching!
