In this video, I'm doing a video of a game that I already did a gameplay and a review on my old channel, but I decided to do a remake gameplay video only. That game is: Moon Patrol. Moon Patrol was developed and published by Irem, it was first released in the Arcade in 1982. This game was also ported to many computers, such as: the Apple II, Atari 8-bit, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Commodore VIC-20, MSX, IBM PC, TI-99/4A and Tandy Color Computer. Many of these were published by Atari's Atarisoft label. It was included in the retro compilations, like Midway Arcade Hits: Spy Hunter and Moon Patrol for the Game Boy Color and Midway Presents Arcade's Greatest Hits: The Midway Collection 2 for the Dreamcast, PlayStation and Windows. I remember the time that I played Moon Patrol on the Commodore 64, when I was a kid. Then I played the Arcade version at the Amusement Park and later in 2000, I got the Game Boy Color version, which came with this game and Spy Hunter. Moon Patrol is a scrolling shooter that the player takes control of a Moon Buggy and your mission is to reach each 26 checkpoints or named after the letters of the English Alphabet. The gameplay is shoot against the enemies, such as: UFOs from above and tanks on the ground must be shot down, jumping over obstacles, such as: holes and mines (the mines are only seen in J to L). After you reach the five major checkpoints: E, J, O, T and Z, you get some bonus points if you're reaching the record time. There are two courses: Beginner Course and Champion Course, the Champion Course loops over 3 times. Overall, Moon Patrol is a pretty fun Arcade game from the early 80's. If you haven't played this, then I recommend to give this game a try. I hope you enjoy this gameplay of Moon Patrol for the Arcade and thanks for watching!
