Gears of War 3 | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
63Today we finish archiving the trilogy of Gear of War on the Xbox 360. Back when I was in highschool I remember playing the original Gears of War and Gears of War 2. I loved both, but never got the chance of finishing the story as I moved to a different country to study when Gears of War 3 came out. Now many years later I finally got the chance to step into the big shoes of Marcus Fenix once more and take out the queen of the Locust horde.
Gears of War 3 pretty much presents a lot of things in a bigger fashion and more vibrant and colorful vistas. You face off against giant monsters, will clash with a new enemy type that behaves like zombies and will even get to pilot new vehicles and power armor.
Though I enjoyed my time with GoW 3, my favorite will still be 2 as the overal epic scale feels so much bigger there than GoW1 and 3 combined. Though there are some giant setpieces in this third entry, it never feels like a giant war that you are partaking in.
Since then there have been more Gears adventures with 4 and 5 and hopefully someday I can archive those too so that we get to see where the story will go next.
