1Since it's April Fools Day today, here's a video of myself playing a game that's so frustrating that it became a meme.
There is one section of Getting Over It that I just cannot get past with mouse controls. You’ll know which section I'm talking about when I reach it in the video. And yes, I’ve seen the speedrun on Youtube but I still can’t replicate it!
I do like the voiceovers though. It’s like listening to a self-help audiobook and adds a surprising amount of depth and meaning to what is otherwise a very simple game.
Fun fact: Bennett Foddy made a game for the Panic Playdate called "Zipper". It’s way better than this one (but still pretty frustrating in it's own way), so go and play that if you can!
